The 88th Annual Academy Awards is set to air live on Sunday, February 28, and will close out this year's awards season. The show will premiere exclusively on ABC for the 40th year in a row, starting at 4 pm PST / 7 pm EST.

The red carpet coverage will run for about 90 minutes before the big event starts and lasts for approximately three-and-a-half hours. Tuning in to the Oscars will be a commitment, but it's one you'll want to make.

Will Leonardo DiCaprio, who is up for Best Actor for his leading role in "The Revenant," finally take home the gold on his fifth Oscars nomination? Or, will Eddie Redmayne's performance as transgender artist Einar Wegener in "The Danish Girl" send him home with the Oscar for Best Actor for the second consecutive year?

You'll have to watch the show to find out, so we're dishing on all the details you need to know about catching the action as it unfolds.

If you're watching from home, simply tune in to your local ABC channel to watch the show live. For those who won't have access to a TV, download the Watch ABC app or head to ABC.com to stream the Oscars for free from start to finish.
